SEBA Administration

Our Mission

The Sioux Empire Baseball Association (SEBA) is a non-profit 501c3 organization committed to providing advanced, developmental and adaptive baseball programs for all who wish to participate; striving to promote sportsmanship, education, commitment, dedication, and a positive attitude through the game of baseball. The Sioux Empire Baseball Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental ability, medical condition, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, or age.

The People Behind SEBA

The Association provides its membership with a five  person full-time internal staff that supervises all short and long range planning and implementation of it youth programming. The internal staff supervised over 450 volunteer coaches and 75 paid staff. These staff members include our internal office staff, coaches, interns, gate workers, site directors, umpire coordinators, and camp staff. If you also add to that over 125 paid SEBA umpires it totals out to over 200 paid SEBA staff. Total staff supervised amounted to over 675 individuals. Factoring in the additional volunteer staff that were utilized for Miracle League Ball Buddies and tournament scorekeepers and operators, the Association relies on over 700 individuals to assist in the implementation of its programming.

PARTICIPANT NUMBERS

From its initial year of organization in 1996, the Sioux Empire Baseball Association has grown at an average of over 3% in participant numbers each year. In the past year the Association provided baseball opportunities to nearly 4,000 youth in the city of Sioux Falls and surrounding areas, including over 3,200 participants in the SEBA Development Leagues. Team wise, the Association organized and administrated close to 300 adaptive, developmental, and advanced teams.
