West managed to escape game 1 of a double header against Brookings with a 7-6 win in Brookings on July 17.
West scored four runs in the top half of the sixth to take a one-run lead. Ryan Rysavy had three hits as Anders Schaefer finished with three RBIs and two hits.
Brookings ran away with a 16-1 win in game 2. Brookings opened up with a 14-run first inning and never looked back.
West rolled in a double header vs. Mitchell on July 20 in Mitchell. In the first game, West and Mitchell went back and fourth in the final inning, but Mitchell could not make the full comeback in West's 11-9 win.
Sam Siegfried lead the charge with three hits and four RBIs.
West blanked Mitchell in a three-hit shutout in game 2.
It was a balanced attack as Ryan Rysavy threw the shutout while four West batters had multi-hit games to drive in 12 runs on 11 hits.
West would conclude the regular season with a double header sweep against Harrisburg at Harmodon Park on July 23. West won a shoot-out in game 1 as the two teams combined for 32 runs in West's 20-12 win.
West was behind, 11-9 heading into the sixth inning. The West bats exploded to score 11 runs in the bottom of the sixth to leave Harrisburg speechless.
West edged Harrisburg, 6-4 in game 2 as Treyson Harty-Olsen and Sam Siegfried both doubled for the West offense.
