July 17 Double Header vs. Brandon Valley

East and Brandon Valley split a night double header on July 17 in Brandon.

East came out on top in game 1 by winning 13-3. East scored at least one run in six of the seven innings played.

Joe Jacobson and John Dekkenga each collected three hits and drove in three runs while East starter Jack Nesje went the distance as he did not give up an earned run and struck out five.

Game 2 did not fall in East's favor as Brandon scored 10 runs in the first three innings to beat East, 10-5. Isaac Pullen went 3-3 with two RBIs to lead East.

July 20 Double Header vs. Huron

East brought hot bats to Huron for a double header later in the week on July 20. East won the first game, 11-7 and kept the foot on the gas in the next game, winning 22-5.

Huron's late rally in their final at-bat in the sixth inning wasn't enough to make-up for their six errors in the field. East was out-hit 8-7 in this game, but their 11 runs were enough to claim a road victory.

14 runs to open up the game was the story in game 2 as East pounded Huron, 22-5. Three East batters collected three hits and Thomas Messenbrink III had a game-high of four RBIs.

July 22 vs. Pierre

East outlasted Pierre by winning, 12-8 in an afternoon game in Pierre on July 22. Kaleb Nyhaug was one of three East batters to have multi-hit games as East put together 13 hits in the win.
