July 9 Double Header vs. Brandon Valley

West suffered two tough losses at home against Brandon Valley to begin the week on July 9.

In game 1, Brandon Valley scored nine runs in the top of the fourth to take the lead. But West would answer back in the bottom half of the inning to even up the game at nine. West would take a 10-9 lead before Brandon Valley scored three runs in the final two innings to win the game. West finished with five hits, but committed six errors in the field.

West would fall, 15-7 in game 2. The messy play continued for both teams, this time it was Brandon Valley that tallied up seven errors in the game. Charlie Jensen went 3-4 and scored two runs for West.

July 10 Double Header vs. Watertown

Offense was a strength for West when they hosted Watertown for a double header on July 10.

The bats took off in game 1 as West scored a season-high 22 runs in their 22-4 commanding win. Mitchell Willis ended the game with a bang as his grand slam in the third inning pushed West's lead to 18 runs and ended the game.

West was able to continue their offensive explosion in game 2 by winning, 12-8. Watertown took an 8-2 lead after scoring eight runs in the fourth inning. However, it didn't take West long to respond as they scored two runs in the fourth and eight more runs in the fifth to win the game.

West participated in the Mid-Summer Classic July 13 through 14 in Sioux Falls.

In their opening game, West was on the wrong side of a perfect game against Millard West as they were held hitless and scoreless in five innings played.

West was able to walk-off in their 8-7 win aainst JC Brager in the next game on July 14. Robert Feiock's single drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Michael Zeman had four hits and Mitchell Willis had three to lead the West offense.

West won yet again, with the same score, this time against Marshall. This time, it was Michael Zeman who singled and drove in the winning run for West. The game-winning hit was one of Zeman's three hits on the day.
