West came out of Brookings with two wins in a double header on June 12. West had three, four-run innings in their game 1 win. Kyler Miritello had a successful day at the plate, going 4-4 with two doubles, four RBIs and a walk.
In game 2 , West scored 10 runs in the top of the third, despite being down 4-0 in the first inning, to run away with another win against Brookings.
West next was in action in the Dakota Classic June 16 through 17 in Sioux Falls. West fell to the JCC Huskies, 15-2 in their first game of the weekend. West was limited to just one hit which was a double by Noah Goodroad. West as a team committed seven errors in the loss.
West's next opponent on June 16 was Brookings. In a back-and-fourth game, West eventually went on to win, 12-9. Zander Grenz and Luke Nelson each drove in three runs. West's aggressive baserunning was shown as the team combined to steal 15 bases.
West fell against Harrisburg the next day as Harrisburg's eight-run bottom of the second was too much in the end for West as they would fall, 16-8. Miritello led the West offense by going 3-3 with two RBIs.
The Dakota Classic would end for West with a matchup vs. East on June 17. West's 11 hits were not enough to beat East as West would fall, 13-7.
