This fall, the Sioux Falls Post 15 Baseball Program will be conducting tryouts for players interested in participating for a Sioux Falls Post 15 Advanced Team in 2023.  Tryouts will be conducted by SF Post 15 coaches and SEBA staff for eligible athletes interested in playing on a Post 15 team. If you cannot attend, it is imperative that you contact the SEBA office.  Post 15 Senior Legion players who are currently participating in a college baseball program are still eligible to participate for a Senior Legion team if D.O.B. is after January 1, 2004.

2006 - Jr. Legion or 16U

2008 - 14U 

2009- 13U 

Tryouts will take place at Harmodon Park Upper fields 

East Legion: August 22nd - 6pm

West Legion: August 23rd - 6pm

14U Tryouts for anyone who is 13 or 14 - August 24th -6pm

*Anyone ew to POST 15 will also have a tryout game which will be August 29th - 6pm

Make up tryouts will be August 29th before the tryout game. If you must set up a different time please let Jeff Campbell know in advance.

SEBA will most likely host an extra trout in the spring for the Class A teams (16U, 14U, 13U & 13/14U) as needed.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: Sioux Falls Post 15 baseball is highly competitive and requires athletes who are serious about developing their baseball skills and playing a high caliber of baseball. Depending on the team and age level, teams will play an extensive schedule that includes anywhere from 45-60 games from the end of May through the first week of August. This schedule will include both weekday games and weekend tournaments that take place in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Teams primarily compete against the other SD Class A opponents in the state, but will also compete against other legion affiliated teams from surrounding states as well. Each age level has an end of the summer state tournament championship. In addition to the SD State Legion Tournament, Legion Baseball offers the potential opportunity for an American Legion National Championship.

* If there are enough talented players who do not make an East or West team, we will attempt to form  additional teams.

* If after rosters are set, a player later decides not to participate, SEBA reserves the right, if it deems necessary, to hold an additional tryout open to others to fill that roster spot.
