Competitive Hitting League

The Hitting League has been a favorite for players around the country from grades 3rd to 12th.  SEBA is excited to re-introduce The Hitting League back to the Sioux Empire. Hitting League will take place on five Sundays. The league consists of individual and team competition paired with individual instruction. Two 4-player teams will compete against each other in a two 5-inning games each week. Cages will be set up with roped off scoring zones. Each game will last approximately 40 minutes and will include intermittent, individual instruction during the game competition. Three divisions will be offered (HS, MS and ELM). Capacity allows for three 90 minute sessions of each division every Sunday or 6 teams total in each age division. 3rd Graders moving into a kid pitch league in following summer are eligible to participate in the Elementary division. Eighth graders have an option of playing in the high school league if they so choose. Individuals not enrolling with a team will be assigned to a team. Team and individual recognition is awarded weekly on the SEBA website with Team and Individual Champions for each Division declared after the completion of the League.
